Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko (notes) has recently had blood drained from his injured left calf and introduced platelet-rich plasma into his bloodstream but he’s now saying that there is a possibility that he could appear in the team’s first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets that is tied at one game apiece. Utah Jazz starting center Mehmet Okur (notes) will miss the rest of the playoffs with a ruptured Achilles tendon but the word from Deseret News is that he may miss the start of next season as well. The injury came when he was heading to the basket later in the first half of the team’s Game 1 loss to the Denver Nuggets .
